Our Story
Feshfeshak /ˈfeʃ.fe.ʃæk/ means “little sparkler.”
In Persian, feshfesheh is a sparkler, a handheld firework throwing off bursts of sparks: crackling, brief, bright, and exhilarating. The suffix -ak is a diminutive, making it small and affectionate.
The name draws inspiration from a chant documented in Iran's 2018 anti-regime protests, and echoed since through the Woman, Life, Freedom movement (2022) and the recent nationwide uprising (2026): “Cannon, tank, sparkler ... clerics must get lost!”
Feshfeshak is an independent design studio, standing alongside the Iranian people's struggle for liberty and democracy, highlighting what matters even when the world looks away. For Feshfeshak, even the smallest spark can carry memory, resistance, and hope. Rooted in the Iranian memory landscape, our original patterns carry that spark into everyday life — for a free, democratic Iran.

فشفشک—جرقه‌ای کوچک در دل تاریکی
فشفشک، فشفشه‌ای کوچک و ابزاری برای آتش‌بازی است. این نام با افزودن پسوند خردساز «ـَک» به فشفشه ساخته شده است. فشفشک یادآور بازیگوشی و شادی‌های کودکانه جشن چهارشنبه‌سوری و شور پایان زمستان است. فشفشک گرچه کوتاه، با جرقه‌های خیره‌کننده و تابناک و با آوای فش‌فش شورانگیز خود، لبخند بر چهره‌ها می‌نشاند.
این نام برگرفته از بانگ «توپ، تانک، فشفشه...» است. پژواکِ این بانگ در خیابان‌های ایران سال‌هاست که شنیده می‌شود: از خیزش دی‌ماه ۱۳۹۶ (۲۰۱۸)، جنبش «زن، زندگی، آزادی» ۱۴۰۱ (۲۰۲۲)، تا خیزش سراسری ۱۴۰۴/۲۵۸۴ (۲۰۲۶) و فریادهای شبانه.
فشفشک، یک کارگاه طراحی آزاد و همراه با پیکار مردم ایران برای دستیابی به آزادی و دموکراسی است. هنگامی که جهان چشم بر ایران فرو بسته است، فشفشک بانگ آزادی‌خواهانه‌ی ایرانیان را پژواک می‌دهد. برای فشفشک، هر جرقه‌ای هرچند کوچک، می‌تواند زنده‌گر یادها، ایستادگی و امید باشد. با ریشه در یادبوم ایران و به امید ایرانی آزاد و دموکراتیک، نگاره‌های نوآفریده‌ی ما این جرقه‌ها را به زندگی هرروزه می‌آورند.
